The Slow Frame:
Blending movement, storytelling,
and a deep belief in what's possible
A retreat for photographers who are looking to restore faith in their dreams and their passion for the practice with a focus on womanhood and the pure joy of living. Floral heavy, feeling focused, and deeply intentional.
March 26th-28th, Montara California

Meet
Danielle
Photographer, healer, lover of the authentic, messy parts of womanhood.
Danielle will take you through the filmy, cinematic techniques of photography, as well as teach you how to guide your clients through their sessions in a way that helps them feel safe enough to express vulnerability and authenticity.

Meet
Johannah
Florist, storyteller, believer in the beauty of the hardest parts of life.
Johannah will provide unique florals and decor that feel less like props and more like art. She will also teach you how to truly believe in your dreams and learn to start romanticizing the less glamorous parts of being a business owner.

This is a retreat for you if:
You have big dreams but are starting to feel disillusioned. You started your business because you fell in love with capturing the small details that make life feel like magic. But lately, you feel so tired. It's a lot to carry, those big dreams. You need connection, relaxation, and that spark that reminds you what it's all for.
It's all the yummy parts of living:
Girlhood, good food, the brisk water of the Northern Californian coast, wine, creating with your heart and hands, and incredible company. We'll have classes on branding, goal setting, documentary style photography, and more. We believe good things should be enjoyed in excess, so you will also enjoy gift bags, an on site masseuse, and yoga. Lodging and food are included.
